Onyx and Breezy offers help for pets of individuals where medical hardship is present.

The Mosby Foundation helps to pay medical expenses for sick, abused and neglected dogs.

Live Like Roo  Supports dogs and their owners through a cancer diagnosis by providing financial and emotional assistance. We love senior dogs! We will pay for biopsies and any kind of cancer-preventative when warranted.

The Pet Fund helps dogs needing medical treatment. Several week waiting period. The Pet Fund assists owners in covering medical costs beyond the normal expenses of vaccination, spay and neuter surgeries, food and routine veterinary care.

Frankie’s Friends Blue Pearl clinics only.

Land of Pure Gold Offers $1000 grants for cancer treatment for working dogs throughout the U.S. and Canada. Must be full-time working dog partner in areas of assistance, detection, search & rescue, law enforcement, military or animal-assisted therapy.

Labrador Lifeline Purebred Labs only. Will assist purebred Labrador Retrievers whose families or rescues have no other way to pay for necessary care.

Friends & Vets Helping Pets  Assists families with financial limitations to pay for lifesaving (not life prolonging) treatment for curable diseases such as tumors, broken bones, ambulatory care, expensive medication, or post-surgical prosthetic devices.

The Dog & Cat Cancer Fund helps needy families get treatment for their cats and dogs suffering from cancer. *For dogs with lymphoma, dog must be in remission before you apply.
Paws up (Ozzy Foundation) We raise funds for cancer research as well as providing food and financial assistance to care for dogs battling this disease.
Buddy Care Foundation Our goal is to help save the lives of loved and valued canine companions, so that no family has to make a decision to end a life due to financial hardship.
Canine Cancer Awareness. Due to limited funds and the large number of applicants, CCA is not accepting applications at this time.

Special Needs Dobermans: Dobermans only. Helping senior and special needs Dobies.
Prince Chunk Foundation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency with your pet, and cannot afford treatment fees, apply.

Jake Brady Memorial Fund  Ohio only. Provides funding for corrective, suitable, and life-saving medical treatment to companion animals of families in need.

Fairy DogParents Massachussetts only. Maximum $800 grant per dog. Email to ask about assistance: Email: fairydogparents@live.com

Fetch a Cure Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, for pets with confirmed diagnosis of cancer.

Brown Dog Foundation Tennessee only. Helping dogs

STARelief and Pet Assistance Connecticut only. Provides financial assistance for canine cancer treatment to residents that are: Experiencing Financial Challenges; Senior Citizens; Sick and/or Terminally Ill; U.S. Military Veterans and Their Families.

Emma’s Foundation for Canine Cancer New England area and Florida only. Our support is specific to canine cancer and we provide support to residents in the New England area.

The Xena Fund: Help in FL in Key West and Lower Keys. For owners on a fixed income, emergency care for pet. Have your vet call 305-432-0494.

Operation D.O.G.: Polk and Marion counties, OR.

Stamford Animal Rescue Connecticut only.
The Picasso Fund New York City only. Pays for lifesaving medical treatment for sick and injured animals transferred from NYC’s AC&C to other Alliance Participating Organizations (APOs) for adoption.
Max & Tucker Fund Assists individuals in Northern New Mexico of low or moderate income over age 60 with veterinarian expenses for their companion dog receiving treatment for a curable condition. Grants generally $500 or less.
Zach Memorial Fund North Carolina only. Financial assistance for canine cancer treatments.
The Pie Fund New York, Connecticut and New Jersey only.
Saint Seton’s: Commonwealth of Virginia only. Applicants should be age 60 or older; on a fixed income; disabled receiving SSI or SSDI; food stamp recipient; homeless.

Help with General Veterinary Fees (not necessarily cancer)

RedRover We provide financial assistance, resources and emotional support to pet guardians struggling with economic hardship when pets are in life-threatening situations.

Grey Muzzle  funds hospice care, senior dog adoption, medical screening, and other special programs to help old dogs at animal welfare organizations across the country. Must be a shelter, rescue group, sanctuary, or other non-profit organization to apply, whose activities include helping senior dogs.

Trio Animal Foundation  assists shelters, rescues and individuals by paying the medical bills of HOMELESS pets.

Sergie Foundation first serves residents of North Carolina (focus in Piedmont Triad area), but will assist nationally if funds are available. Provides assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care. Does NOT fund on-going/chronic issues that require continual treatments (ex: medicine/insulin, cancer, diabetes).

Dogs on Deployment  A military member may apply for a Pet Chit for emergency treatment or care and other reasons.

Organizations in Canada

Guide Dog Assistance Fund – Helps to fund emergency/unexpected care for working guide dogs (trained at registered schools anywhere in North America) living in Canada. Will fund before care and up to three months after care.

The Farley Foundation was established by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) in 2001 and assists people in need by subsidizing the cost of veterinary care for the pets

Aminal Cancer Therapy Subsidization Society The Animal Cancer Therapy Subsidization Society (ACTSS) is a registered Alberta Charity dedicated to increasing accessibility to cancer therapies for Alberta pets. ACTSS will help offset the cost of treatment for advanced cancer therapies designed by board certified veterinarians.
