Cody, an angel in disguise

Magic Bullet Fund has been receiving very generous donations for a long time. We called to ask if there is a story behind the donations. This is what we received:

Yes there is a story and his name was Cody!  Cody, the best black lab in the world, was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma and given 4 months to live. He had immunotherapy, which bought us 4 extra months before he died. That was almost 10 years ago.
I saw pet parents with their babies sell their cars to get funds for treatment, which grabbed my heart. We were lucky – we had emergency savings that we depleted for Cody, but I said in my heart that if we were able to give money to help those people and their sick “kids” I would do it. And God blessed us so we could help!

As an after note, we swore we would never have another dog. I cried for 6 months for Cody (still tear up even now). But we adopted 2 baby yellow lab brothers, Matt and Jake, and a little chihuahua thing named Maggie May, who terrorizes the boys. We also have our cat kids, so it’s a full house to say the least.

Anyway, it’s all because of Cody, who may have been an angel in disguise, even though he looked like the best black lab in the world!

Thank you so much for the work you do with Magic Bullet to help the 4 legged kids who need help. You are angels too!
