There is almost always more than one way to treat a cat or dog with cancer. As your pet’s first advocate, you should find out what all of the options are, and then choose the one that works best for you and your pet. If your veterinary medical team says what treatment they will give your pet, without reviewing the options and letting you choose, you need more information!
Set up a home care regimen that will help your pet. Include diet and supplements to help your pet fight cancer and to help him withstand treatment.
I will help you make these decisions. We will review your pet’s diagnosis, treatment plan and home care. We will talk about what else can be done to help your pet fight cancer.
