There is almost always more than one way to treat a dog with cancer. As your dog’s first advocate, you should find out what all of the options are, and then choose the one that works best for you and your dog. If your veterinary medical team says what treatment they will give your dog, without reviewing the options and letting you choose, you need more information!
Set up a home care regimen that will help your dog. Include diet and supplements to help your dog fight cancer and to help your dog withstand treatment.
I will help you make these decisions. We will review your dog’s diagnosis, treatment plan and home care. We will talk about what else can be done to help your dog fight cancer.
