Magic
Bullet Fund Helps Shelter Dogs Fight Cancer
|
Ann
became homeless in late 2008.
With a heavy heart, she placed her 10-year-old Shiloh Shepherd,
Shomer, in temporary care at PAWS Chicago. There he was found to have
cancer. Thanks to a quick and
generous response from MBF sponsors, Shomer had surgery and is now in
recovery in foster care, while Ann is doing all she can to once again
give Shomer a proper home.
|
Wendell
was found as a stray and placed in the care of St. Louis City
Animal Control. Wendell was rescued by the St. Louis Senior Dog Project
and placed with a foster family. Now, this handsome Blue Dobie mix has
been diagnosed
with nasal cancer. With assistance from MBF, he is getting radiation
treatment and we hope that this will cure him so he can
live a long, happy life. |
Show your support so that more dogs can beat
cancer and find a forever home.

Is
Your Home Toxic?
Most likely, the
answer is yes! If you haven't heard this before, then catch the latest
news about toxins in your home and the cancer-risks to your pets in the
Jan/Feb 2009 issue
of Bark Magazine.
Many goods are manufactured with chemicals and
materials that may affect your health and your dog's health! You owe it
to yourself
and your furry-friends to know how to
minimize exposure to toxins in the home.
